The Concrete Keeper series is a concrete impregnation material that primarily uses lithium silicate combined with silane. It features a formulation where lithium silicate is the main component, blended with silane. Therefore, in addition to the wear resistance achieved through the permeability and concrete modification effects of silicate-based materials, it also incorporates the sealing properties of silane-based materials, offering the benefits of both! ☆The two main components work together to block concrete deterioration☆ 1. Silane-based ⇒ The silane component forms hydrophobic groups on the surface, providing water-repellent functionality. This helps to suppress deterioration of concrete caused by water. 2. The definitive solution for concrete surface penetrating agents! A mixed penetrating agent of lithium silicate and silane that can multi-address ASR, salt damage, carbonation, and salt damage with a single application.

The performance characteristics of sodium silicate-based impregnants are "reactive," allowing them to penetrate deeply when subjected to water curing. Therefore, the feature of maximizing performance was achieved through two applications (coating and water curing) × 2. However, the downside was poor economic efficiency. As solidified lithium silicate-based impregnants have been reevaluated, a significant price difference has emerged, leading to the introduction of sodium silicate products that do not require water curing and are effective with just one application. However, if the effect that is originally enhanced by water curing is considered to be 100%, it may drop to 60-70%. Moreover, there are four phenomena of concrete deterioration: carbonation, ASR (alkali-silica reaction), salt damage, and freeze-thaw cycles, which often deteriorate in a combined manner. Particularly in coastal and mountainous areas, salt absorption cannot be avoided. Ideally, after applying a lithium silicate-based impregnation that provides internal improvement effects, it is desirable to apply a water-repellent material that excels in suppressing moisture intrusion from the outside.
